LE Clinician

Job Description

The License-Eligible Clinician provides therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups while working toward full licensure. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support client well-being. The clinician ensures compliance with ethical standards and regulations while receiving supervision as required for licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with best practices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff. Utilize evidencebased therapeutic interventions to address mental health, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Participate in clinical supervision as required for licensure. Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for longterm success. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and professional ethics. Engage in ongoing professional development and training. Support crisis intervention and risk assessment efforts as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Must be at least 19 years of age per Commonwealth of Virginia Interdepartmental Regulation of Children's Residential Facilities.

Experience:

• Experience in clinical settings such as mental health agencies, hospitals, or private practice preferred. Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, crisis intervention, and behavioral health principles. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with supervision. Commitment to cultural competency and traumainformed care.

Licenses/Certificates:

CPR Behavioral Management Program Registered with board at Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
