Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time School-based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver vital mental health services within school settings, supporting children and adolescents through evidence-based practices. Your work will empower students to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and thrive academically and personally. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to the developmental needs of children and youth Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations in accordance with clinical standards Implement trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices to promote mental well-being Manage crisis situations with effective crisis management and crisis intervention techniques Collaborate with school staff, families, and case managers to develop personalized treatment plans and support systems Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Utilize social work documentation tools and medical records systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care Skills Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school or clinical settings Strong knowledge of behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and adolescent development Skilled in addiction counseling, social work, case management, and conflict management Expertise in group therapy, child & family counseling, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism or PTSD Proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, data collection, and medical records management Ability to perform crisis intervention effectively while demonstrating cultural diversity counseling skills Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), attachment-based therapy for children, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and evidence-based practices for mental health treatment Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people!
