Job Description

Master Social Worker - MSW Sonoran Hills Behavioral Health Center is a 10-bed residential treatment program located in Peoria, AZ, serving adolescent males (ages 12-17) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our program provides a highly structured, supportive environment where residents receive comprehensive, integrated care through a multidisciplinary team approach. We are committed to promoting skill development, reducing maladaptive behaviors, and fostering greater independence.
Our treatment model includes:
24-hour care and nursing support Psychiatry services Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy Speech, occupational, and physical therapy Recreational therapy Case management services Individualized dietary services Why Join Sonoran Hills? Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team; medical director, psychiatrist, DON, program manager, nurses, and BHTs. Conduct psychosocial assessments to understand the patient and family needs and identify individual patient needs, triggers, and preferences, including sensory sensitivity, and preferred communication methods. Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward clients and families. Equip and train families with coping mechanisms on managing patient's behavioral health and medication after discharge in coordination with interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program. Arizona LMSW or LCSW preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and crisis intervention skills. Proven experience working with adolescents, behavioral health, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or residential treatment a plus. Pay:
$62,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
