Behavioral Health Case Manager (FT, Days)

Job Description

Education:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution required. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered in accordance with organizational policy and applicable regulations.
Experience:
Previous experience in behavioral health, case management, care coordination, healthcare administration, social services, or a related clinical setting preferred. Experience working with prior authorizations, FMLA or disability documentation, insurance payers, community resources, or transitions of care is beneficial.
Licensure/Certification:
Active, unrestricted state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Social Worker required, as applicable to the role and state requirements. Examples may include RN, LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW. Case management or behavioral health certification preferred.
Mental/Physical Effort:
Requires the ability to communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple priorities in a clinical office environment. Physical demands are generally light to moderate and may include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and using standard office equipment. The position may occasionally require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects in accordance with organizational safety guidelines and essential job duties.
