Position Summary Under the direction of the VP of Services, the PBS Clinician is responsible for clinical oversight of individuals residing in Beta's residential programs. This role oversees the clinical needs and collaborates closely with individuals, families, guardians, service providers, and Beta team members to promote effective, person-centered supports aligned with the organization's mission. The position generally follows a Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule, with occasional flexibility required based on program and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 24-hour supported residential programs Develop, review and monitor Behavior Support Plans, Functional Behavior Assessments, and related clinical documentation Evaluate clinical programming and behavioral interventions for effectiveness, evidence-based practice, fidelity, and regulatory compliance Promote Positive Behavior Support (PBS) philosophy grounded in Human Rights, dignity, autonomy, self-determination, and freedom choice Provide clinical consultation, case review, and training to residential teams to support effective implementation of individualized programming Support crisis prevention, intervention, and response planning and serve as an agency crisis intervention trainer Develop and monitor medication treatment plans in collaboration with medical and psychiatric providers and ensure appropriate staff training Develop and analyze clinical data systems to evaluate outcomes, identify trends, and inform clinical decision-making Collaborate with families, guardians, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate clinical care and support continuity across services
Qualifications:
Currently licensed in Massachusetts in accordance with applicable law as one of the following: Independent clinical social worker (LICSW) Applied behavior analyst (BCBA an / or LABA) Master's or Doctorate-level teacher with a certificate in special education Licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) Training in Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), organizational strategies, and multi-tiered systems of support A minimum of three years of combined postgraduate coursework, formal training, and / or experience in functional behavior assessment and treatment A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities Ability to work a flexible, full-time 40-hour per week schedule
