Are you passionate about working with people with mental illness or addiction? Refractions Intensive Residential Treatment Center seeks an on-call/fill-in Behavioral Health Practitioner. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals who suffer from various mental health disorders, including psychoses cognitive impairments, and or addiction. We are seeking weekend coverage. Other shifts and hours may vary.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily group education, and chart. Obtain patient histories from case managers and other professionals. Daily shift notes Confer with patients to understand their needs and monitor progress; Relay information to case managers. Attend the mandatory weekly meetings Other tasks assigned by the house manager or the treatment team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and interventions is helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
