North Pole, AK Family Seeking a Full Time Nanny Position Overview A warm and welcoming family in North Pole is seeking a full time nanny to care for their two young boys beginning in August 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing, dependable caregiver who enjoys engaging toddlers and preschool-aged children through play, learning, and meaningful daily interactions. The family is looking for someone who will create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment while becoming a trusted part of their children's lives. Compensation and Benefits $25 to $30+ per hour Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid personal days Schedule Tuesday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm Desired start date: Around August 17, 2026 Four day work week About the Children The oldest child is a sweet 3-year-old boy who is initially shy with new people but quickly becomes comfortable as trust is built. He has a wonderful imagination, is an incredible big brother, and loves spending time with his younger sibling. He is not currently enrolled in preschool, and his parents have been introducing early learning concepts including the alphabet, counting, numbers, and problem-solving activities. He is fully potty trained, has excellent speech for his age, and has no allergies or dietary restrictions. His younger brother is a cheerful 21-month-old boy who is naturally outgoing and enjoys following his older brother's lead. He adapts well to new situations, has a healthy appetite, and enjoys a wide variety of foods. He typically takes a two-hour afternoon nap, is meeting his developmental milestones, has age-appropriate speech, and has no allergies or health concerns. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care for two young boys throughout the day Plan engaging, age-appropriate educational and creative activities Encourage early learning through play, reading, counting, and problem-solving Support positive routines for meals, naps, and daily transitions Keep children's play areas, toys, and child-related spaces tidy and organized Foster a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment where both boys can thrive Home Environment This family has two friendly dogs, a Belgian Malinois and a German Wirehaired Pointer, who are comfortable around children and new people. No driving is required while on duty, allowing the nanny to focus entirely on providing exceptional care and engaging activities for the children. Ideal Candidate The ideal nanny is patient, kind, and dependable, with experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
