Duties Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure safety and engagement Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development, early education principles, and social-emotional learning Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety, accessibility, and stimulating activities Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly and appropriately Assist with diapering, infant care routines, toddler care, and other basic childcare responsibilities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings with classroom experience in early childhood education Knowledge of childhood development milestones and instructional techniques for teaching young children Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective classroom management strategies Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child supervision best practices Experience nannying or babysitting young children is highly valued Demonstrated ability to handle behavior management challenges with patience and professionalism Join us at the Childcare Academy where every day is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and support families. Pay:
$10.00 - $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 27.5 - 40.0 per week
