| A young, creative family is seeking an experienced ROTA Nanny to join their household and work alongside their existing nanny in the day-to-day care of their two young boys, ages 4 and 17 months. The parents are hands-on and believe their family functions best when they and their nannies work together as a collaborative team. They value professionals who are nurturing and enthusiastic with their children while also being hardworking, proactive, respectful, and confident working independently. The family has an established ROTA nanny, originally introduced through The Nanny Matchmaker, whom they absolutely adore. She has developed genuine relationships with the boys and works seamlessly alongside the parents, providing a wonderful foundation for the incoming nanny to join. The family hopes to find someone who brings a similarly positive approach, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm for their work. Both parents work in creative fields and have schedules that differ from traditional corporate hours, allowing them to remain very active and present in their children's lives. The right nanny will therefore be comfortable working collaboratively alongside hands-on parents while also confidently taking full ownership when the parents are working or unavailable.

THE BOYS

| The family has two active and curious boys, ages 4 and 17 months. Their oldest attends school during the week, while their youngest is primarily cared for at home. Both boys are at wonderfully active stages of development, and the family is seeking a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging young children through play, exploration, outings, reading, music, sensory activities, and age-appropriate learning. The nanny should understand the differing developmental needs of a preschooler and a toddler and be able to confidently manage both children together while also giving each child individualized attention.

THE HOME + PARENTING PHILOSOPHY

| As a family of creatives, the parents value an imaginative and thoughtful approach to childcare. They use creative redirection and age-appropriate consequences and appreciate a nanny who can provide gentle, consistent guidance while encouraging independence. Their goal is to raise well-rounded, curious children and provide an environment rich in opportunities for exploration and learning. Screen time is very limited, and the nannies are expected to actively engage the boys through enrichment, sensory and creative activities, music, reading, imaginative play, outdoor time, and age-appropriate outings. The household is trilingual. Everyone in the family speaks English, while the parents also speak French and Farsi with the boys. Excellent spoken and written English is important, and fluency in French or Farsi would be a wonderful bonus.

T HE JOB DETAILS

| Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both boys while creating genuine, loving relationships with each child. The nanny should confidently manage their evolving routines, developmental milestones, school schedules, activities, outings, meals, naps, and transitions while maintaining the family's gentle yet consistent approach. The role requires a proactive nanny who uses quieter periods in the children's schedules to stay ahead of child-related responsibilities, including laundry, wardrobe organization, maintaining supply inventory, organizing and sanitizing toys and belongings, planning activities and outings, and supporting developmental transitions as the boys grow. The family employs household staff, including a chef and housekeepers. The chef prepares most of the family's meals; however, the nanny should be comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the boys as needed. The nannies are responsible for keeping the boys' rooms, belongings, and child-related spaces tidy and organized, as well as cleaning up dishes and messes left during their time with the children. Domestic and international travel is an important part of the position. The family travels extensively, including extended summer travel to Europe as well as shorter trips throughout the year. The ROTA nannies coordinate coverage around the family's travel schedule, and candidates must be comfortable accompanying the family for both shorter and extended trips.

The family is seeking an experienced career nanny who genuinely loves their profession, enjoys working alongside hands-on parents, and thrives within a ROTA structure. Their ideal candidate brings a positive, joyful energy to childcare and is loving, youthful, active, and energetic enough to keep up with two busy young boys. They are looking for someone confident in their childcare abilities who maintains a calm, thoughtful approach to teaching and guiding children, even through the more challenging moments. A strong understanding of child development is important, including the different milestones, developmental phases, communication styles, and age-appropriate activities of toddlers and preschool-aged children. Recent experience caring for two children of similar ages is strongly preferred. An educational or teaching background, particularly in preschool or early childhood education, would be highly valued, along with knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach. The nanny should enjoy creating developmentally appropriate opportunities for exploration, creativity, independence, and learning throughout the boys' days. Previous ROTA experience is required, including an understanding of the unique rhythm, collaboration, communication, and compensation structure that accompany ROTA positions. The right candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, anticipate needs, proactively contribute to the household's daily flow, and understand the importance of maintaining appropriate professional and personal boundaries. The family's chef prepares most meals; however, the nanny should understand basic food preparation and be comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the boys as needed. The candidate should also be a confident swimmer who enjoys swimming with young children and has a strong understanding of pool and water safety. The nanny must be a safe and confident driver with previous experience transporting young children in Los Angeles and have reliable transportation to and from work. Candidates must be Los Angeles-based, up to date on the family's required vaccinations, and hold a valid passport and be able to travel domestically and internationally. Stellar, verifiable references from previous nanny families or childcare employers are essential.

T HE REQUIREMENTS

| The ideal candidate will have extensive professional nanny experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children, along with excellent verifiable references and demonstrated longevity in previous positions, ideally two years or longer with prior families. Candidates must be comfortable caring for two young children simultaneously, physically able to lift and carry young children and manage strollers and outings, and confident navigating parks, libraries, classes, and other age-appropriate activities. A valid driver's license and excellent driving record are required, along with confidence safely transporting children. Domestic and international travel is required. Candidates must also have a clear background screening and, at the time of hire, be certified in Pediatric and Adult CPR and TrustLine registered. Candidates must be based in Los Angeles or the greater Los Angeles area. The family is seeking a long-term commitment of approximately 3-4 years.

THE SCHEDULE

| This is a full-time ROTA position, with the incoming nanny alternating scheduled rotations with the family's existing ROTA nanny. During their rotation, the nanny will provide primary coverage for the boys and should be fully available and flexible based on the family's needs and the parents' varying work schedules. The family travels regularly throughout the year, both domestically and internationally. Travel coverage is shared among the ROTA nannies and may include extended rotations during longer trips, such as the family's annual summer travel to Europe. Flexibility surrounding travel and occasional adjustments to the regular rotation are essential.

THE COMPENSATION

| $130,000-$150,000 annually, DOE, with a monthly health insurance contribution.
