The Family Engagement & Enrollment Specialist plays an essential role in supporting families across multiple child care centers. This position focuses on welcoming new families, supporting enrollment and re-enrollment, and building strong, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers. The specialist works closely with the center director and regional manager and the community to ensure families feel informed, supported, and connected throughout their child care journey. This role serves as a bridge between families, child care centers, and community partners, helping to maintain full enrollment while creating a positive and engaging experience for all families. ECE experience required. Responsibilities Support enrollment efforts by connecting with prospective families and guiding them through the application process. Build welcoming relationships with families to ensure a smooth and positive enrollment experience. Participate in community events, resource fairs, and family-focused activities to share information about available child care programs. Conduct presentations and outreach at community locations such as daycares, housing programs, community centers, and family resource organizations. Develop and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations that support families and young children. Coordinate and host informational sessions and family engagement events in collaboration with community partners. Communicate regularly with prospective and enrolled families through phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms. Answer family questions regarding child care programs, schedules, policies, and services. Assist families with completing enrollment paperwork and navigating communication platforms. Maintain accurate records of family interactions, applications, and follow-ups. Provide ongoing support to families during re-enrollment and transitions between programs. Collaborate with center leadership to strengthen family engagement practices across all sites. Identify opportunities to improve family communication and enrollment processes. Requirements Strong commitment to supporting children, families, and early childhood education. Excellent customer service and family-centered communication skills. Experience working with children, families in child care or early education settings. Ability to build positive relationships with families from diverse backgrounds. Clear and compassionate verbal and written communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage responsibilities across multiple locations. Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced, family-focused environment.
