$40-$45/hour net, approximately $130,000/year gross depending on final rate and payroll calculations

Provided while working-A wonderful, hands-on family is seeking a kind, loving, energetic and experienced full-time nanny to join their household and provide exceptional care for their two young children, ages 3 and 1. The family is based in Greenwich, Connecticut during the school year and spends the summers in Sag Harbor, New York. They are looking for someone who is comfortable transitioning between both residences and who can travel with the family as needed during the summer.
Schedule:
The regular schedule is: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-7:00 PM. During the summer in Sag Harbor, the nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom available. Depending on the schedule and circumstances, the nanny may stay overnight or arrange transportation home, including Uber when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both children, including:
Managing the children's daily routines and schedules
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Children's laundry and keeping their belongings organized
Maintaining tidy children's bedrooms, play areas and spaces
Planning age-appropriate activities, outings and play
Driving the children to activities, classes and appointments
Supporting developmental milestones
Engaging the children through reading, outdoor activities, creative play and educational activities
Maintaining appropriate routines, structure and boundaries
Helping the household run smoothly as it relates to the children
Traveling with the family as needed, particularly during the summer A nanny vehicle will be provided, and candidates must be confident and experienced drivers with a clean driving record.
Household Environment:
Mom is a stay-at-home mother who is very involved and hands-on, so the nanny must genuinely enjoy working alongside an involved parent and be comfortable with a collaborative approach to childcare. Dad works in New York City.
This is also a fully staffed household. The family employs a full-time housekeeper, and a Baby Nurse works with the family periodically. The family's in-laws also maintain fully staffed households. The nanny must be a true team player who communicates well and is comfortable working alongside other household staff, whether at the family's primary residence, summer home or extended family's residences.
The family also has two cats, so candidates must be comfortable around cats and cannot have significant cat allergies.

Compensation & Benefits$40-$45/hour net, paid legally on payroll through the family office. Based on the anticipated schedule and final compensation structure, the position is expected to be approximately $130,000/year gross.
