The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, dependable, queer-affirming, and experienced supporting children with diverse developmental needs. Strong infant and toddler experience is required, and prior experience with neuro-divergent children is highly preferred.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Work window can be from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Consistent 40 full-time hours
Children:
4 year-old child, autistic, In school 8:30 am to 1:15 pm 2.5 year-old child, autistic and non-verbal Infant, approximately 11 months old at start
Responsibilities:
Full care for all three children Supporting developmental milestones and age-appropriate routines Providing developmentally appropriate support for autistic children Engaging and communicating with a non-verbal toddler using appropriate alternative communication techniques Full infant care, including bottle preparation, sanitizing, feeding, naps, and milestone support Planning age-appropriate activities and enrichment Family laundry and organization related to the children Maintaining clean, safe, and organized child-related spaces Clear and consistent communication with parents
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced full-time nanny Strong infant and toddler background Experience supporting neurodivergent children strongly preferred Nurturing, patient, and emotionally attuned Organized and proactive Queer-affirming and comfortable working in an inclusive household Interested in a long-term placement
Requirements:
Prior professional nanny experience required Infant and toddler experience required English fluency required Swimming experience preferred
Additional Details:
Parents work from home Two dogs in the home, no pet care required Family vehicle provided during working hours Occasional local travel may be requested
Compensation & Benefits:
$30-$40 per hour, depending on experience Overtime paid in accordance with applicable labor laws 1 week sick time Two weeks paid vacation
