Job Description

Pay:
$19.00 per hour (paid via Venmo on Sunday, October 25, 2026)
Location:
Downtown Washington, D.C. Hotel (near Massachusetts Avenue NW & 9th Street NW). The exact location will be provided after a completed application for the safety and privacy of the children in our care. About Us Tots on the Spot provides quality, on-site childcare during conferences and special events. We create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while parents attend meetings. Position Summary We're looking for a caring and dependable Relief Caregiver age 18 or older, to assist during an upcoming conference in downtown Washington, D.C. This position provides afternoon coverage so our lead caregiver can take a break while ensuring the children continue to receive attentive, quality care. Shifts Wednesday, October 21: 1:00 p.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22: 1:00 p.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 23: 1:00 p.m.

m. Flexible scheduling! You do not need to be available all three days. We can split the shifts between multiple caregivers based on availability. What You'll Do Supervise children in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment Engage children in playtime, crafts, games, and quiet activities Assist with diapering, snacks, and daily transitions as needed Support the lead caregiver and help maintain a clean, organized childcare room What We're Looking For A reliable, professional, and caring individual who enjoys working with children Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to downtown Washington, D.C.
