Description:

A busy family in Coconut Grove is seeking an experienced full-time Nanny/Family Assistant to join their existing nanny staff and help care for their 1 and 2 year old. The family needs approximately 80-90 hours of total coverage each week, which will be shared between two full-time nannies, with each working about 40-45 hours per week and providing flexibility to cover for one another when needed. Both children attend school during the week, so the role shifts naturally between hands-on childcare and family assistant support. While the children are home, the nanny's focus will be on their care, routines, and activities; while they are in school, responsibilities will include family laundry, dishes, tidying, home organization, caring for the family dog, errands, and household projects as needed. Weekend coverage is part of the schedule, but Saturdays can be shared between the two nannies and Sundays are optional; weekend shifts are childcare-focused without household duties. With work-from-home parents, a large and active household, and another professional nanny already on staff, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and bringing flexibility and organization to a long-term position. The family provides scrubs to wear as a uniform.

Pay:

$30-$35 per hour Paid time off and holidays Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule:

Thursday and Friday, 3pm to 9/10pm Saturday 11am to 9/10pm

Optional:

Sunday, 9am to 6pm If you would like to propose a different schedule share, let us know! The family needs the following hours split between 2 nannies: Mon-Tues 7-7 and Weds-Sat 7-9/10. Sunday is optional.

Duties:

Provide attentive supervision of children while they are home Drive children to and from school and activities; pack backpacks and diaper bag Prepare meals and snacks for the children Keep kitchen clean and organized after meals Tidy common areas; keep spaces organized and refreshed Do family laundry, fold, and put away; change linens and towels weekly Keep household and children's supplies stocked Provide light pet care (feeding, walks, clean-up) Take out trash and recycling On weekends, the only job duties are child-focused only We want to meet nannies who love helping children grow.
