About the Opportunity We are seeking an attentive, caring, and reliable Private Babysitter to provide focused, high-quality childcare support for families connected with our early learning community in Pinellas Park, FL. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood caregiver, daycare assistant, or professional sitter looking for consistent daytime, after-hours, or weekend babysitting hours in a safe, family-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, one-on-one supervision and ensure the physical safety and well-being of children at all times. Support daily routines including scheduled nap times, meal/snack times, and quiet rest periods. Facilitate screen-free, age-appropriate developmental play such as storytime reading, arts and crafts, sensory play, and guided outdoor play. Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks; assist with feeding and cleanup.

Assist with light child-related upkeep:

cleaning dishes used during care, organizing play areas, and ensuring diapering/potty areas are sanitized. Communicate openly and professionally with parents, offering clear updates on meals, activities, and daily milestones.

Schedule & Availability Hours:

Flexible part-time schedules available. Shifts typically include after-school hours (e.g., 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM), date-night evenings, and occasional weekend mornings or afternoons. Consistent schedule options can be coordinated based on candidate availability. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in babysitting, daycare/preschool assistance, or early childhood care. High school diploma or equivalent (Coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus). Current certification in Pediatric First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to starting). Dependable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Clear background check (level 2 fingerprinting / background clearance compliant with Florida childcare regulations). Warm, patient personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Non-smoker.
