Strict NDA and confidentiality agreement required Position Overview Nannies and more…® International is seeking an exceptional, highly energetic, polished, and engaging Professional Live-In Nanny/Mentor for an UHNW family located in Newnan, Georgia, in the South Atlanta area. This is a unique opportunity for a career nanny who genuinely enjoys working with an older child and understands that the role evolves beyond traditional childcare. The family is seeking someone who can serve as a positive role model, mentor, trusted companion, academic supporter, and professional nanny for their 13-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be fun, active, engaging, intelligent, and highly personable while maintaining exceptional professional boundaries. The candidate should know how to connect naturally with a teenager, encourage independence and confidence, and create an environment that is both enjoyable and developmentally appropriate. The family is seeking a long-term placement and is focused on finding the right professional and personality fit. Primary Responsibilities All duties are centered around the 13-year-old child. The family employs a full-time housekeeper, so this is not a housekeeping position.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive and engaging care before and after school Serving as a positive role model, mentor, and trusted adult presence Creating an upbeat, fun, active, and age-appropriate environment Assisting with morning preparation and maintaining an organized school-day routine Driving the child to and from school, activities, appointments, social engagements, and other commitments as needed Remaining familiar with the child's school curriculum, assignments, projects, and academic schedule Providing appropriate homework assistance and tutoring support Helping develop strong organizational, study, and time-management skills Encouraging independence, responsibility, confidence, and good decision-making Coordinating and overseeing age-appropriate activities and outings Maintaining organization of the child's schedule, belongings, school materials, and activity needs Communicating effectively and professionally with the parents regarding schedules, academics, activities, and the child's overall needs Providing occasional overnight supervision when the parents are traveling Exercising exceptional judgment regarding privacy, confidentiality, social media, photography, and information pertaining to the family Confidentiality & Professional Discretion Candidates who are accustomed to maintaining a high degree of discretion and understand the importance of protecting a principal's privacy are strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate The family is seeking a professional who is: Highly energetic, engaging, fun, and personable Warm and approachable while maintaining appropriate authority and boundaries An excellent role model and mentor for a teenage girl Academically capable and comfortable assisting with curriculum and tutoring Organized, proactive, dependable, and self-directed An excellent communicator Able to anticipate needs and think ahead Comfortable working within an UHNW private household Exceptionally discreet and respectful of the family's privacy Able to understand and maintain appropriate employer/employee boundaries Able to "read the room" and understand when to engage and when to provide the family with privacy Flexible when occasional schedule changes, additional hours, or overnights are required Interested in making a genuine long-term commitment to the family Professional Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following experience/education standards: Minimum of five years of professional, full-time nanny experience, OR College degree plus a minimum of three years of professional, full-time nanny experience Additionally, candidates must possess: Strong professional references Excellent driving record Ability to safely transport the child Professional appearance, communication skills, and presence Ability to successfully complete the agency's comprehensive screening and background process Willingness to execute and strictly adhere to an NDA and all confidentiality provisions Legal authorization to work in the United States Previous experience working with school-aged children, preteens, or teenagers is strongly preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in education, tutoring, child development, mentoring, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply. Live-In Accommodations This is a live-in position within the family's beautiful approximately 11,000-square-foot private residence. The selected nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and private bathroom, allowing for personal space and privacy while residing in the family home. Compensation & Benefits $50,000 annual base salary Structured compensation based upon the established schedule Additional hours worked are compensated separately Additional stipend for overnight responsibilities Paid vacation Work-related driving/use provided or compensated as applicable Long-term employment opportunity with an established UHNW household Schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-9:00 AM Morning support and preparation 2:00 PM-7:00 PM After-school care, transportation, activities, academic support, mentoring, and evening responsibilities Occasional additional hours and overnights will be required when the parents are traveling and will be compensated separately.
