Summary We are two working parents seeking an engaging, caring and responsible long-term, part-time nanny for our two girls, born in 2021 and 2024. Perfect-fit Part-Time Nanny Our perfect-fit nanny oozes common sense, has a positive attitude, takes initiative, and communicates clearly. Must be excited to enrich, educate, and discipline two adorable and increasingly rambunctious young girls. Must be at least 18 years old and a non-smoker, have 3+ years of professional childcare experience, a valid driver's license, and a safe driving record. CPR and First Aid certified are preferred. Must be authorized to work in the US. Bonus points for backgrounds in healthcare and/or teaching reading, writing, or languages (French preferred, or Spanish). Start Date Late August 2026, or as soon as reasonably possible Baseline Schedule Mon -
Fri:
4pm - 630pm Typical School Day A typical shift might start with you picking the girls up from school, then bringing them to an activity or playdate, or bringing them home to provide daily care, including bathing. Before leaving, you will help to prepare food for the family, including lunches for both girls for the next day. Whenever there is unstructured downtime, you will proactively balance both educating the children while carrying out household chores like laundry, and helping to maintain a clean and organized environment. The girls love to "help"! That said, many shifts may not be "typical," and may also include taking one or both girls out and about to places like parks, libraries, appointments, or grocery stores. Atypical School Day The girls are in a wonderful school that has modified schedules roughly 2 - 4 days each month during the school year. On these dates, the girls will not be in school as usual, and you will have the opportunity to work additional hours if you are available and interested. These dates will always be scheduled in advance, and you are not strictly required to take on these dates. Optional Opportunities You may receive requests to help watch our children in other circumstances. For example, if one or both children are sick, if the family wants additional help on mornings/nights/weekends, or if we make plans to travel. You will not be obligated or expected to accept these requests. School Vacation Weeks Plans to be determined jointly. Questions? Please apply! We'd love to connect.
