Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Child Care Floater to join our vibrant team! In this vital role, you will provide flexible support across various classrooms and age groups, ensuring every child receives attentive supervision and engaging learning experiences. Your enthusiasm and adaptability will help maintain a positive, safe environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while working alongside passionate early childhood educators. Duties Provide child supervision across multiple classrooms, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Assist with classroom activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational lessons aligned with developmental goals Support teachers with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment following health and safety standards Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of child abuse or neglect promptly Support behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children of diverse backgrounds Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within a dynamic childcare environment Work Location In person Work Remotely No Job Type Full-Time Schedule 8 hour shift (9 AM - 6 PM) 1 hour lunch break Monday to Friday Education High school or equivalent (Required) Join us in creating a joyful, nurturing space where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to learn!
