Job Overview Little Eagles Childcare Center is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Early Childhood Aide to join our team! Our aides work alongside our teachers to help provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the children in our care. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with kids, is willing to jump in wherever needed, and wants to be part of a team that works together to make each day run smoothly. Experience is always a plus, but we're also happy to train the right person! Responsibilities Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and transitions Supervise and interact with children during play, meals, outdoor time, rest time, and other activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Engage with children through play, conversation, reading, art, and other age-appropriate activities Help children practice positive social skills and appropriate behavior Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, cleaning, and other daily care needs depending on the age group Follow all Little Eagles policies and Minnesota DCYF licensing requirements Communicate and work well with teachers, management, families, and other staff Be dependable, flexible, and willing to help where needed throughout the center What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely enjoys working with children Dependable and able to work as part of a team Patient, positive, and able to stay engaged with children throughout the day Good communication skills Previous child care experience is preferred, but not required Must meet Minnesota child care licensing requirements for the position CPR/First Aid certification is required, or must be willing to obtain it Why Little Eagles?
