In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing engaging activities, ensuring child safety, and fostering positive development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or potty training, and nap schedules. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Communicate effectively with parents. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or welfare promptly. Support classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and social skills among children. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire), including pediatric first aid training. Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members while demonstrating patience and empathy. Understanding of or willingness to learn classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Commitment to maintaining a safe environment by adhering to health guidelines and mandated reporting laws. Pay:
From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 30.0 per week
