Director needed to spearhead our new child care center starting now! Our new center is opening November This Year! River Rock Early Learning is a new early learning program launching within Quarry Church , and we're looking for a Director to help finalize the opening of our first child care center. Looking for an immediate start as we get closer to our opening day. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader who loves children, develops people, builds strong teams, and wants their work to have a meaningful impact on children, families, educators, and the church. As Director, you'll lead the daily operations of River Rock while creating a safe, joyful, nurturing, and faith-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and play. What You'll Do Build and lead a strong, caring, mission-aligned team. Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop early childhood educators. Establish a positive culture where teachers feel supported and valued. Oversee daily operations, enrollment, staffing, budgeting, and program development. Ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families. Maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with Minnesota childcare licensing requirements. Partner with Quarry Church leadership to establish and grow the ministry. Help shape the vision, systems, culture, and reputation of River Rock as we launch and grow. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Are a committed follower of Jesus Christ with a mature, authentic faith. Have experience leading in early childhood education or a licensed childcare setting. Love children and understand the importance of strong early childhood foundations. Are a relational, encouraging leader who knows how to build and develop a team. Are organized, dependable, and able to balance people, operations, and big-picture vision. Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with families. Lead with both grace and accountability . Are excited by the opportunity to build something new rather than simply maintain something established. Qualifications Meet applicable Minnesota Rule 9503.0031 qualifications for a childcare center director , including required education, coursework, and supervisory experience. Minimum 1,040 hours of qualifying staff supervision experience and required coursework. Ability to complete required Minnesota childcare training, background study, and professional development. Previous leadership experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early learning program preferred. Our Faith River Rock Early Learning is a ministry of Quarry Church .
