A warm, laid-back family in Town and Country, MO, with two physician parents is seeking a full-time nanny for their one-month-old baby. The family values a calm, nurturing home environment and believes in gently guiding their child toward positive routines, healthy habits, and growing independence from an early age. They enjoy spending time outdoors together, taking walks, relaxing by the backyard pool, and enjoying family activities. While the home is generally calm and easygoing, both parents have demanding careers as physicians, so they are looking for a dependable, organized nanny who can provide consistency, structure, and loving care for their baby. The ideal caregiver will be an experienced, hardworking, and trustworthy professional with extensive newborn and infant experience. They are looking for someone who approaches their work with genuine kindness, patience, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. The right nanny will bring a warm, nurturing presence into the home and create a safe, loving environment where the baby feels supported, valued, and well cared for throughout the day. The family seeks a career-minded nanny comfortable working independently, establishing a predictable daily routine, and becoming a trusted, valued part of their family's support system.
Responsibilities:
Watching and ensuring the baby's safety at all times, playing with the baby, supporting development (i.e., tummy time, etc.), washing bottles/pump parts, and doing baby laundry are the minimum requirements. Handling other tasks, such as general dishes, laundry, and possible light dinner prep, would be a plus.
Schedule:
Flexible/open to discussion. Probably all weekdays, most likely 7a-4 or 5p for 4 days per week and maybe a half day the other day of the week.
