Inside Their World:
This family is entering one of life's sweetest seasons as they settle into parenthood with their first child. Their four-month-old son has an easygoing temperament and has already earned a reputation for being a genuinely happy baby. Right now, his days revolve around eating, sleeping, cuddling, and discovering the world around him one small milestone at a time. Like many first time parents, Mom and Dad are learning alongside him. They're currently following his natural feeding and sleep cues while gradually introducing more predictable naps and routines as he grows. They aren't searching for someone to completely reinvent their parenting style. Instead, they're hoping to welcome an experienced infant nanny who can offer guidance, confidence, and reassurance during this exciting stage. Their favorite moments happen outside the nursery. Whether they're taking family walks, cooking dinner together, reading books, or hosting friends and relatives, they value creating a home filled with connection, conversation, and meaningful experiences.
Family Environment:
This household is built on mutual respect, curiosity, and ambition. Both parents have built impressive careers through discipline, dedication, and a genuine love of learning. Dad is analytical, highly organized, and naturally enjoys creating efficient systems. Mom brings a thoughtful, balanced perspective and approaches life with calm confidence and flexibility. Together, they create an environment that values preparation without perfection. Although they both work from home in separate offices, they intentionally respect the nanny's professional space throughout the day. They appreciate open communication, honesty, and someone who can confidently manage the day while keeping them informed of anything important. Above all, they're looking for someone whose character runs deep. Integrity, authenticity, and trust matter far more to them than appearances or personality alone.
Who Thrives Here:
This position is ideal for a nanny who enjoys becoming a true partner to first-time parents. The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and naturally takes initiative. They notice opportunities to help before they're asked, anticipate needs before they're asked, and enjoy creating calm through preparation rather than reacting to challenges. They're equally comfortable discussing infant development, introducing age-appropriate activities, and celebrating everyday milestones. Reading books, spending time outdoors, narrating daily routines, and encouraging curiosity come naturally to them because they genuinely enjoy helping children learn. This family would especially appreciate someone who is confident enough to share professional insight while remaining collaborative and respectful of the parents' preferences. They're looking for someone who communicates with maturity, values relationships, and takes pride in providing exceptional care.
Daily Rhythm:
Each day will revolve around supporting growth through responsive, attentive care while gradually helping establish healthy rhythms for sleep, feeding, and play. The nanny will engage him through tummy time, sensory exploration, music, books, neighborhood walks, and developmentally appropriate activities that encourage cognitive and physical growth. As he becomes more alert, the nanny will thoughtfully introduce new experiences that match his changing abilities. Child related responsibilities include preparing bottles, washing feeding supplies, children's laundry, maintaining the nursery, rotating toys, tidying children's spaces, preparing simple meals as he grows, loading the dishwasher after children's meals, emptying the diaper pail, and keeping parents updated with photos throughout the day.
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional childcare experience Extensive infant experience required Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check & a clean driving record Reliable and insured vehicle Pet friendly; family has two German Shepherds and two indoor cats At this stage, we cannot provide any additional information about this position other than what has already been provided in the job description. Due to the high volume of candidates, we will only contact you if the family is interested in meeting you or if we need additional information.
