Job Description

CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT
Child Watch Attendant provides short-term, drop-off childcare for participants while their parent/guardian uses the recreation facility. The position ensures a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment by supervising children, facilitating age appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean and orderly Child Watch environment.​ We are currently hiring 3 - 4 part time positions.
This position is responsible for:
Ensuring a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children during short-term drop-off care. Monitoring children closely during play, crafts, and group activities to ensure physical safety. Sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly. Maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe Child Watch environment. Planning, organizing, and supervising age‑appropriate activities. Greet parents and guardians warmly and answer questions regarding Child Watch procedures. Knowledge of infant and child development and basic care Ability to work well with children and exercise patience, compassion and understanding with the. Ability to accommodate varying needs of each individual child simultaneously. • Current certifications required: Red Cross CPR/PR and Advanced First Aid Minimum age requirement: 16
Beginning Wage:
$16 - $16.50 per hour
