Main Line Health Fitness and Wellness Center is currently looking for a part-time childcare attendant! Childcare attendants help with activities of the fitness centers child care. These include, but are not limited to, directing children in playing and resting, organizing and participating in games, and maintaining discipline. Must like to interact with small children as well as be able to lift them. The primary duties of a Child Care Attendant include, but are not limited to:
Helps children remove outer garments like jackets, sweaters, etc.
Organizes and participates in games (including board and video games), reads to children, and teaches them simple painting, drawing, handwork, songs, and similar activities.
Directs children in resting and toileting.
Helps children develop habits of caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys and books.
Maintains discipline

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud (largely dependent on the children the employee will be supervising).
