In this vital role, you will manage daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and early childhood development instruction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while ensuring compliance with all safety and educational standards. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, early education, and social-emotional growth. Supervise classroom activities, ensuring effective classroom management and behavior management strategies are in place. Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and qualified team. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and infant care protocols. Foster strong relationships with families by communicating program updates, addressing concerns, and supporting their child's developmental needs. Maintain accurate records related to child progress, attendance, licensing requirements, and staff documentation. Promote a positive, inclusive environment that supports working with children of diverse backgrounds and those with disabilities or special needs. Experience Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare or educational environment preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with childcare licensing standards, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety regulations such as pediatric first aid certifications. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families while fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
