POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager for Tarrant County Kids is responsible for program development and implementation, staff supervision, and administrative duties for the childcare program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Administration Manage the daily operations of up to 9 TCK sites with varied enrollment volume and geographical locations during the school year Manage 1-2 summer camp sites to ensure quality experiences for children and families Coordinate the scheduling of staff at assigned campuses, ensuring coverage as required by licensing guidelines Conduct site visits to ensure programs maintain agency expectations Monitor inventory of program supplies, ensuring each site has needed materials Generate reports as needed for TCK Director and the senior leadership team Review and respond to reports on children's behaviors and incidents/illness Communicate with State licensing personnel and parents as needed Collaborate with the Business Services Manager on childcare enrollments for each assigned site Coordinate and foster relationships with school and district administration Responsible for licensing compliance, child weekly attendance reporting system and ensure Child Care Assistance is updated with absences and report issues to CCMS. Fill in as site supervisor or instructor as needed Create and implement trainings for site supervisors and instructors Participate in community events as requested to increase student enrollment and increase visibility of the agency and department Supervision Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of site supervisors and site instructors Lead by example, demonstrating resourcefulness, professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion in difficult situations Ensure volunteers are effectively utilized in program delivery, provided training, and recognized for their efforts Related Agency Activities Regularly assess personal performance and set professional goals. Attend staff meetings, town halls, and trainings; collaborate with staff to meet goals Participate in all required reporting and deadlines at the organizational level, including but not limited to those related to expense management, mileage, and grant requirements Share the duties of answering phones and greeting guests when other office staff are unavailable
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience in multi-site management or management of a large afterschool site (75 or more youth). 2 years of experience in administrative duties, preferably in an education or business setting. 2 years of direct experience managing teams, including responsibilities such as performance evaluations, staff development, and conflict resolution Ability to work some evenings and weekends. Ability to provide professional references and clear extensive background checks. Possess reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and a clear driving record Ability to build rapport within the local community including school administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technology (Google Docs, CANVA, and Adobe) Strong emotional intelligence with a passion for working with diverse groups Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with program participants, parents/guardians, and professionals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Program Director certification through Child Care Licensing Bilingual in Spanish a plus .
