The 2.5-year-old is happy, bright, and advanced in language development. They love music class, gym class, and trips to the library. Beginning in late August, the older child will attend school three days per week from 8:30am-12:30pm. The family values a nurturing environment that encourages independence, self-sufficiency, life skills, and age-appropriate developmental milestones. They are looking for a nanny with a strong understanding of child development who can thoughtfully support both children as they grow. The nanny should be comfortable balancing the needs of a toddler and infant, including infant feeding routines, bottle cleaning and sanitation, naps, outings, and developmental play. When the older child is in school, the nanny will primarily focus on the 5-month-old and household tasks related to the children. The nanny will also help facilitate activities and outings such as library visits, music, and gym classes as appropriate. Child-related household responsibilities will include bottle cleaning and sanitation, children's laundry, children's meal preparation, kitchen tidying, light home tidying and organization, and minimal pet care.
