We are looking for a passionate, Christ-centered leader who loves Jesus deeply and desires to share His love with children through engaging, hands-on teaching, intentional discipleship, and authentic relationships. Position Overview The Children's Ministry Leader will oversee and lead the children's ministry by creating a safe, welcoming, fun, and Christ-centered environment where children can grow in their faith. This leader will teach God's Word through creative, hands-on lessons while equipping and developing volunteers who share a passion for discipling children. This individual should desire to be led by the Holy Spirit, continually grow in their own relationship with Christ, and be committed to building strong relationships within both the church and the surrounding community. Responsibilities Lead the Children's Ministry during Thursday evening services and Sunday morning worship services. Teach biblical lessons in an engaging, age-appropriate, and interactive way. Create hands-on learning experiences that help children understand and apply God's Word. Foster a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where every child feels valued. Build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Recruit, train, mentor, and encourage Children's Ministry volunteers. Collaborate with church leadership to develop ministry vision, events, and outreach opportunities. Pray for and minister to children and families with compassion and biblical truth. Encourage children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. Maintain ministry spaces and ensure all safety procedures are followed. Qualifications A vibrant, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus Christ . A life that reflects biblical character, integrity, humility, and a servant's heart. A genuine passion for helping children know, love, and follow Jesus. A desire to teach God's Word with creativity, enthusiasm, and biblical accuracy. Experience working with children in a church, school, daycare, or similar ministry setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to recruit, encourage, and disciple volunteers. Willingness to continue growing spiritually and personally as a follower of Christ. A heart for serving the local church and becoming an active part of the
