Crossing is looking to add a full-time pastor with a passion to make disciples of this generation and the next! Our Family Pastor will oversee all areas of ministry to kids and youth (from the nursery to graduation), equipping their parents to be disciple-makers, and organizing volunteers to offer vibrant ministry opportunities. The Family Pastor will provide oversight, vision, structure, and strategies to partner our (unified, but distinct) kids and youth ministries with parents, and equip the parents to make disciples at home by providing training and resources. He will organize and oversee leadership teams comprised of parents and volunteers, organize programs, recruit/train volunteers, and shepherd our families by offering opportunities for them to invest in their marriages. In addition, he will participate in regular congregational care as a member of the pastoral team, including preaching occasionally and offering spiritual guidance to those under his care. Other duties include managing physical meeting spaces for the kids and youth, annual budgeting for kids and youth ministries, attending staff and other appropriate meetings and activities, and facilitating ministry training.
About Crossing Community Church:
Crossing Community Church is a non-denominational church in the suburbs (half-hour) north of Philadelphia. We are a warm, friendly, multi-generational church of about 250 people fairly evenly spread across the age demographics. Our historic property sits on 13 acres, and (in addition to our own ministry activity) serves our community during the week as a hub of activity for many guests including homeschool groups, recovery groups, Scouts, theatre groups, and more. We believe salvation is in Christ alone, by grace through faith. And since it is the work of God, he loses none that he saves. Our music is a mix of hymns and contemporary songs, and our preaching is typically more expositional. We are elder-led, theologically conservative, and practice believer's baptism.

Must be in a growing relationship with Jesus, humble, teachable, gracious, always striving to exhibit Christlike character, motivated to make disciples, and pursuing community with believers, as well as influence with unbelievers.
Qualifications:
Ordained preferred (willing to be ordained if not). College or seminary preferred. Experience in building teams and a lifestyle reflective of 1 Tim. 3:1-7 are a must. Marriage and parenting experience is a plus, but not absolute.
