Mountain Ridge Church is located in Warrenton, Virginia, and is searching for an energetic Campus Pastor to lead our active, growing church family. We have recently shifted to live-streaming Cornerstone Chapel (Leesburg, VA) for our weekly sermons (we are a 'Cornerstone watch group'), but our church family is in-person and very active in our ministries (we have a flourishing worship team, children's ministries, men's ministry, women's ministry, prayer ministry, missions ministry, etc.). A good candidate for this role would be someone who can provide solid spiritual Pastoral leadership and care, working in tangent with our Elders and Deacons, for our family-like congregation, helping our church body grow in their relationship with Christ through discipleship, encouragement, prayer, and biblical knowledge/understanding.

This includes the following:

o Delivering motivating, gospel-centered messages on occasion, especially when Cornerstone live-streaming sermons might not be available (ie, technical issues).o Sharing a greeting/opening as well as closing remarks/benedictions for weekly worship services.o Connecting/checking on ongoing church ministries on occasion, providing encouragement, help or guidance as needed. Working with Elders/Deacons in recruiting new volunteer ministry leaders as needed.o Connecting/conversing with the congregation families and individuals on various occasions and situations, being a unifier among the body. Providing biblical counsel and support, as needed, for those facing life challenges, grief, illness, or spiritual concernso Performing weddings, funerals, baby dedications, baptisms, etco Making hospital visits, as neededo Helping in with teaching for adult ministries (Sunday School classes, men's breakfasts, etc.)o Participate in leadership meetings, ministry planning, and church communications as needed. Candidates should demonstrate a mature Christian faith, agreement with Mountain Ridge Church statement of faith, and a lifestyle consistent with biblical leadership. Hours and salary are negotiable

Overview Pay:

$50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
