Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Experience Assistant to join our vibrant senior living community. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents, fostering a warm and engaging environment that promotes well-being, independence, and community connection. Your energetic approach will help coordinate resident activities, support individualized care plans, and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors while developing your skills in elder care and community programming. Duties Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging resident events and recreational activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities Assist with daily resident needs, including memory care and dementia support, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Collaborate with caregiving teams to develop personalized activity programs aligned with residents' preferences and health conditions Build strong rapport with residents through active listening, companionship, and personalized interaction Manage schedules for resident activities, appointments, and community outings to ensure seamless daily operations Communicate effectively with residents' families regarding activity participation and upcoming events Support the development of programs that enhance socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life for residents Experience Prior experience working with seniors in assisted living or long-term care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, geriatrics, and memory support techniques is essential Demonstrated experience in event planning or recreational therapy within senior communities Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, team members, and external partners Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, documentation, and program planning purposes Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in home & community care environments is advantageous Proven ability to develop innovative programs tailored to aging issues counseling and senior care needs Join us in creating a vibrant community where every resident feels valued, supported, and inspired. Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
