This position also provides general support, client assistance, and supportive service coordination to all participants of the program, including promoting resident well-being, community stability, and connection to appropriate resources and services. Responsible for monitoring and assisting with access control, maintenance, and operational issues at the assigned properties in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Company.
Scope of Duties:
The purpose of this job description is to communicate essential duties and responsibilities associated with the position; however, not all duties and responsibilities are specifically addressed herein. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee's duties shall be accomplished in consultation with his/her supervisor, and in some cases may require supervisor approval. Duties and responsibilities may be shared with other employees, and may include but are not limited to: Supportive Service Responsibilities Life Safety & Crisis Response Responsibilities Conduct routine wellness and safety checks of residents and common areas Observe and report behaviors that may indicate mental health crises, self-neglect, abuse, or medical concerns Assist with de-escalation of resident conflicts and crisis situations using trauma-informed approaches Monitor security cameras, building access systems, resident and visitor activity, and report concerns to Property Management and/or Case Management staff Monitor for lease compliance and community safety concerns and report issues to appropriate staff Document incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, wellness observations, and resident interactions in daily logs and incident reports Resident Well-Being & Stability Support Assist residents with accessing transportation, medical appointments, and community services Encourage resident engagement in supportive services, programming, and community activities Support resident accountability and adherence to housing program expectations in a respectful and professional manner Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a respectful, supportive, and trauma-informed environment Coordinate with external parties, including caretakers, home health aides, family members, and service providers Provide hygiene reminders and support Provide laundry support Basic Needs & Resource Distribution Distribute toiletries, cleaning products, linens, towels, non-perishable food items, donations, and seasonal/community resource items Assist in maintaining and stocking inventories of supplies, donations, linens, toiletries, and pantry items Resident Assistance & Administrative Support Assist residents and shelter participants with phone calls, appointment scheduling, and completion of basic forms or applications Research and provide information regarding community resources, services, and directions Provide document copying and basic administrative support Assist with posting community notices, calendars, and informational materials Community Engagement & Programming Create and maintain the activities calendar Facilitate and support social, recreational, and community activities, meetings, and special events
Operational Responsibilities:
Providing appropriate coverage at the assigned properties Providing regular reporting on assigned tasks at the property Supporting the daily operations of the assigned properties in a manner that is consistent with Company policy Supporting the daily operations of the assigned properties in accordance with state, federal and local laws Supporting the daily operations of the assigned properties in accordance with industry standards and best practices Maintaining the property in a condition that is clean, safe, and professional Positioning the property to effectively attract and retain residents Maintaining professional communication with co-workers, vendors, and residents Maintaining files and documentation in conformance with Company policy Responding to emergencies or incidents at the property Any other duties consistent with efficient and effective property operations Seeking opportunities for improvement and professional development Completing miscellaneous administrative tasks at the assigned properties Administering appropriate access-control guidelines at the assigned properties Inspecting the assigned properties to identify safety or operational issues Communicating any identified issues with appropriate parties in a timely manner
Training Requirements:
Participating in staff trainings related to crisis intervention, fair housing, trauma-informed care, overdose response, and safety procedures including but not limited to: Ø First Aid/CPR Ø Crisis Intervention and Prevention Ø Emergency Management Ø De-escalation Practices Ø Trauma-Informed Care Ø Working with
Homeless Populations Qualifications:

Comprehension and Verbal Skills:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Reasoning and Problem Solving:
Ability to apply common sense understanding in responding to written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems based on experience and/or independent judgment.
