Thursday 7pm-7am; Sat/Sun 7am-7pm

Overview Join our residential facility as an RA to support women in a structured, transitional living facility. This position works independently to monitor the residents overnight and requires client engagement skills and the ability to work solo with remote support from the team. Women in the facility are residents in a year-long program. As a key member of team, you will ensure clients are on-site, maintain program rules and structure, hold positive boundaries, manage overnight concerns or emergencies and provide essential support to individuals from diverse background and promote community engagement. A resident advisor will foster a client-centered, trauma informed space where residents feel valued, secure, and empowered to thrive. Duties Supervise and monitor resident activities to ensure safety and adherence to community rules and program requirements. Perform facility rounds and room checks overnight to ensure resident safety and compliance. Provide crisis intervention and conflict management support, addressing issues promptly and effectively and following appropriate protocol. Support high-risk populations by offering support in collaboration with the clinical team. Run medication management and provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations, maintaining safety protocol. Facilitate communication between residents and staff, promoting transparency and trust within the community. Maintain appropriate boundaries and enforce facility rules and guidelines. Communicate concerns to larger team. Experience Strong crisis intervention skills with experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions or substance use challenges Experience with substance use and mental health challenges. Certification in first aid, CPR, manual handling or medication administration is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with diverse individuals and families This role is ideal for entry level, motivated individuals passionate about supporting community well-being.
