Job Description

Join our team at Human Services Center! We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual who has a passion for helping others!
Requirements:
High School Diploma Must possess a current and valid Driver's license/ reliable transportation Must Pass a Physical examination upon hire and bi-annually Job duties: This is a direct service non-administrative position under the supervision of the Residential Supervisors. Continually evaluates each resident regarding their mental health and behaviors. Assists in recording this information in required documentation. Provides relevant information to other staff regarding the status of each resident. Participates as a team member in providing a therapeutic environment in each residential setting. Residential workers follow through with clinical directives of medical and supervisory personnel. Residential Program Worker assists and monitors the daily activities of the residents including: Assists with and provides recreational/social activities Preparing all meals Providing laundry services Providing housekeeping services Assist, if necessary, with personal hygiene Assist with menu preparation Assist in the distribution of medication Oversees general health care as well as social and personal interactions Assist with and coordinates transportation needs Observes and reports, orally and in writing, on individual and group behaviors. Concentrates on assigned homes, but assists in all homes when needed. Maintains home in a clean, safe and secure condition. Reports any operational or resident problems to the supervisor. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. Attends staff meetings, conferences, and learning sessions as required. Acts as liaison between residents and other staff members. Communicate with the staff to coordinate/share responsibility for barn activities, gardens, greenhouses, kennel and other program related operations related to the rural nature and the specific vocational features of each environment. Performs other related work and duties as required or requested by the Executive Director and/or his designee.
