We are currently seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Services Assistant Coordinator.
Position OverviewAs the Residential Services Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our residential programs. Working closely with the Residential Services Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating resident schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a high quality of life for all residents. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for service and strong leadership skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
Participate in on-call rotation to support caregivers as needed on evenings, weekends and holidays.
Support the implementation of individualized service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans for residents.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Respond to resident needs, concerns, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate and document medication administration, medical appointments, and daily living activities.
Assist with onboarding and training new staff members on agency policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate resident records, incident reports, and other required documentation in compliance with state and agency regulations.
Facilitate communication between residents, families, medical providers, and administrative staff.
Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration and problem-solving.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Residential Services.
QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; At least 1-2 years of experience working in residential services, direct care, or a related human services setting.
Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Must pass a caregiver and driving background check.
Completed CBRF training on the UWGB registry required.
