Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' vital signs and health status regularly to ensure their safety and well-being Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols while maintaining detailed records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Provide companionship and social engagement to promote mental and emotional health through activities and conversation Support residents with dementia or memory care needs by implementing personalized care plans and behavior management techniques Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Support emergency procedures including first aid response when needed and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals or emergency responders Qualifications Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, nursing home, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Certification or experience in first aid, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, or caregiving is advantageous Familiarity with EMR systems and basic medical documentation practices Ability to assist with ADLs using appropriate techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for transportation duties is a plus but not mandatory Join us to make a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
