Meaningful, Rewarding Work What does a Family Support Worker do? As a FSW , you'll work directly with children and families receiving services through Nebraska DHHS. Depending on the case, you may:
Supervise Parent-Child Visits
Help create safe, positive experiences for children and parents.
Provide Transportation
Transport children and/or parents to visits and other approved activities.
Provide Family Support
Help families work toward goals involving parenting, employment, housing, budgeting, household management, and more.
Complete Documentation
Document the services you provide and the progress you observe.
Drug Testing
Opportunities to conduct UAs, sweat patches, oral swabs, and breathalyzer testing.

Training is provided, and drug testing is optional if you are not comfortable performing it. We're Looking for
