Job Description

Neighborhood Assistant Summary:

This position acts as a universal attendant and life-enrichment aid, doing a number of duties to provide comprehensive care for our tenants, designed to maintain their physical and emotional well-being. Attending activities include serving and cleaning up after meals, helping residents to and from rooms, helping to clean rooms, making beds, etc. Life-enrichment activities include interacting with residents in large and small group settings, including exercise, devotionals, table activities (crafts, cards, etc.), art, pet and music therapy.

Scheduled hours:

Part-time shifts available, including an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation. Day shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm and evening shift, 4:30pm-8:00pm. What makes this position different than most? Bethesda is a non-profit social ministry that carries out its mission daily: "Serving others together in faith, community and life." This position will get to work in the brand-new location and building in New London, MN.

Requirements:

Previous experience is preferred but not required. Bethesda has a great team to teach you the skills for this position. No diploma, degree, or certificate required.
