Job Description

The Program & Hospitality Support Coordinator provides administrative, event, and guest support for programs and activities at The Montpelier Center for Arts and Education. This position helps ensure a welcoming environment for students, instructors, artists, visitors, and community partners while assisting with daily operations and programming needs. This is a PT, hourly position scheduled Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week. No benefits provided. Occasional flexibility may be needed for special events or programs. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations and community programming Assist with class setup, event preparation, and hospitality needs Welcome guests, students, instructors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries Help coordinate schedules, registrations, and program logistics Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming public spaces Assist with hospitality for meetings, workshops, and special events Support marketing and communications efforts, including social media updates and flyers Track supplies and assist with purchasing or restocking as needed Provide general administrative support to staff and instructors Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to multitask and work independently Comfortable using basic computer programs, email, and scheduling tools Experience in hospitality, events, arts administration, or community programming preferred Positive attitude and ability to work well with the public This role involves a combination of office, front desk, classroom, and event support duties in a community arts and education setting.
