Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, dedicated and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead, organize, maintain, and oversee the activities of Youth Service Program (YSP) in accordance with MCYP's mission and goals. Position works closely with Deputy Executive Director & Programs Admin/Compliance Officer as a trusted member of MCYP's Leadership Team. Duties The Program Manager is responsible for and direct supervision and oversight of MCYP's paraprofessional YSP service staff. Accountable for ensuring the provision of high-quality client services in a manner conforming with MCYP's service delivery expectations which include best practices models such as Positive Youth Development and Trauma Informed Care. Responsible for maintaining all service-related compliance within local, judicial, State, and Federal guidelines including documentation and client chart requirements; responsible for the provision of trainings to YSP staff ensuring operational systems are followed to guarantee said compliance requirements. Oversight of multiple service contracts/grants guaranteeing service hours are fulfilled as contractually agreed. Professionally and proficiently represents MCYP in various community-based meetings and other public settings with emphasis on developing new community connections and building on existing partnerships to bolster community wide service collaboration. Direct liaison with various local, judicial, State and Federal funders maintaining supportive collaboration and successful working partnerships. Accountable for assuring funder satisfaction of services provided by the YSP program and the quality of YSP team member performance. Travel to outlying service areas as in support of YSP staff serving remote locations within Mendocino County. Assessment of program strengths and identification of areas for improvement with tactical planning for continued program development and growth. Responsible for developing YSP staff work schedules, monitoring and approving timesheets, organizing & coordinating various program meetings, crisis response calendars and other activities as needed. Must participate in an on-call rotation for the MCYP crisis line, and support YSP staff as the lead back up for provision of direct client services including evenings and weekends as needed. Directly assist various MCYP management staff in the following areas: data/compliance tracking, program reporting, hiring and retention, design and revision of program materials including client documents, curriculum development, program policies, desk manuals, etc. Other duties as assigned to maintain continuity of care and service delivery to the community. Qualifications Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook, client Electronic Health Records, social media platforms and other various technology applications Extensive knowledge of housing navigation and multiple areas of housing support including management and oversight of congregate & non-congregate shelter homes, housing focused case management and best practices, ample knowledge of local community resources and benefit navigation, etc. Ability to work autonomously and highly responsibly, organizing and prioritizing workload efficiently to ensure deadlines are met; capacity to work under pressure and with excellence in all manner of business needs. Proactive and effective communication skills with cooperative collaboration and conflict resolution abilities Proficient writing and verbal presentation skills Sufficient problem solving & troubleshooting abilities Familiarity with Positive Youth Development, Harm Reduction & Trauma Informed Care and other best practice service delivery models Ability to relate to people of all cultural backgrounds and ages with commitment to provide high quality service of care Ability to work well with others utilizing active collaboration, communication, leadership, and team building skills in order to create and maintain a healthy, enriching work environment with continued focus on maintaining positive staff morale

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree in human services field 3 years related experience. Must have prior supervision experience demonstrating the ability to successfully manage a team that holds a diverse array of skills and abilities providing leadership and focus to each team member's needs for support in their area of responsibility. Expectation to maintain strict staff and client confidentiality and uphold appropriate ethics and boundaries in all areas of professional interactions. Direct service experience with youth crisis, school-based services, evidence-based practices, the juvenile justice system, child abuse, and mental health issues of youth/young adults and families.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or other related field plus five years or more years providing direct services and staffsupervision in the human services field. Experience with congregate/non-congregate shelter operations and housing focused case management best practices. Experience operating a residential facility. Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Pay:

$24.05 - $29.26 per hour
