Role Details Our Elizabeth office is seeking an experienced Social Worker (AHP3) or Professional Officer (PO3) to join the team as a Supervisor . You will implement valuable supervisory measures to maintain the ongoing improvement of service delivery and strengthen culturally inclusive practices. This will play a vital role in elevating care outcomes for clientele. As you venture into a meaningful mentorship position, incorporate your sound child protection knowledge and build robust partnerships that positively fulfill organisational objectives. This is a single vacancy offered under a dual classification , meaning it may be filled by either an experienced, qualified Social Worker (AHP3) or Professional Officer (PO3) depending on the qualification and suitability of the successful applicant.
Essential Qualifications:
AHP (Allied Health Professional) positions require applicants to hold a Social Work qualification and be eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) PO (Professional Officer) positions require relevant qualifications in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or other related fields. Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child Protection (DCP). In this role, you will: Integrate culturally appropriate intervention methods and frameworks to uphold high-level care practices Manage the development of services that will positively affect diverse clientele Provide beneficial support to staff through goal setting and conflict resolution initiatives Establish strong networks with relevant stakeholders to fulfill business needs Generate high-level written documentation to maintain accurate reporting processes.

Salary:
AHP3: $112,139
$120,284 p.a. + 12% super +4% child protection allowance +Professional Development Allowance
entitlement to claim reimbursement of eligible professional development expenses +Qualification Allowance may apply if you hold an additional qualification relevant to the role. PO3: $111,870
