  • 145,000 per year Make an Impact in Your Community Redwood Hospice is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Hospice Community Liaison to help expand our presence throughout Alameda County.
This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare sales and marketing professional who understands the hospice referral landscape and knows how to build trusted, long-term relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior living organizations, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare partners. The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly motivated, comfortable working independently in the field, and passionate about connecting patients and families with quality end-of-life care.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders
  • Represent the company at community events, meetings, and conferences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Create and implement print advertising campaigns to promote company products or services
  • Manage the company's WordPress website, ensuring content is up to date and engaging
  • Utilize digital marketing techniques to drive brand awareness and generate leads
  • Write compelling copy for marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts
  • Assist with product management activities, including market research and competitive analysis
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI
  • Execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers
  • Support e-commerce initiatives by optimizing product listings and driving online sales
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategiesSkills
  • Strong knowledge of print advertising strategies and techniques
  • Proficiency in WordPress content management system
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on persuasive messaging
  • Understanding of product management principles and practices
  • Ability to create and manage budgets for marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and automation tools
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and strategies

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hospice marketing, community liaison, healthcare sales, or business development experience required. Direct hospice industry experience strongly preferred. Established relationships within the Alameda County healthcare community are highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop referral relationships and generate new business. Strong understanding of hospice services and the healthcare referral process. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable managing a field-based territory independently. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and operational teams. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
