Responsibilities Peer Support Specialist - Full-time Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist to work in Outpatient Services. This position is responsible for providing support and education to patients and family members that serve as an adjunct to direct clinical services and enhance patient's personal pathway to recovery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reponsible to meet with patients in their homes to complete sessions and collect drug screen samples Facilitates patient's readiness for change Models coping techniques and self-help strategies Assists patients in linking to community support and treatment services Assists patients is setting personal recovery goals and developing recovery care plans.
