Are you passionate about helping young people successfully transition into adulthood? Do you enjoy mentoring, connecting youth with resources, and helping them develop the skills needed to become successful and independent adults? Primary Responsibilities As a Chafee Specialist (Older Youth Specialist), you will provide case management, guidance, and support to youth as they prepare for independence and adulthood.

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining accurate and timely case documentation Identifying and securing appropriate community resources Providing life skills education to help youth prepare for independent living Providing ongoing mentorship, encouragement, and support Helping youth develop the skills, confidence, and resources necessary for a successful transition into adulthood Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with the Child Welfare System in the State of Missouri A minimum of 1 year of experience assisting youth with the development of life skills Ability and willingness to travel throughout the State of Missouri when necessary Willingness to work a flexible schedule , which may include some evenings and/or weekends Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field preferred Exceptional Benefits Package In addition to meaningful work that makes a difference, MBCH offers an outstanding compensation and benefits package valued at more than $15,000 per year , including: Comprehensive Medical Insurance
