Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services (PRS) Specialist Part-Time

Job Description

We are seeking dependable, patient, and motivated individuals to provide one-on-one mentoring and skill-building services to foster youth. PRS Specialists work directly with youth to help them develop emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and healthy decision-making based on goals identified by their therapist. This is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week) primarily during after-school and early evening hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking consistent part-time work. Full-time hours are typically not available during the school year, though additional hours may be available during the summer.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide 1:1 mentoring and skill development sessions
  • Teach and reinforce emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Support youth in working toward therapist-identified goals
  • Transport youth to appointments or approved activities
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation
Schedule:
  • 15-20 hours per week
  • Primarily 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM (varies by youth needs)
  • Some schedule flexibility required
  • Summer full-time opportunities may be available
Requirements:
  • Experience working with youth preferred
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using computers and completing online documentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
