Executive Director Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Able to pass a Background Criminal Investigation. Able to communicate in English in both written and verbal formats on a professional level. The ability to communicate in Spanish on the same level is desired but not required. Ability to work with PC and/or Mac devices for email communication, scheduling, data entry, written reports, personal work records and other documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms including
Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint Essential Skills:
Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal formats. Proficient at organizing and managing work materials, a personal work schedule and required records including time tracking, work documentation, forms, task lists and other office organization. Perform effectively as a team member by following established policies and procedures, responding promptly to communications delivered through established channels, attending meetings and activities regularly and on time, meeting assigned deadlines, participating actively as a team member, and resolving problems or differences of opinion within the appropriate team context. Must have a strong working knowledge of Early Intervention (EI) policies and procedures, as well as the State and Federal rules upon which they are based. The Building and Volunteer Coordinator has in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures which relate to building management, communication standards and records confidentiality. Must be able to articulate the basic principles and purpose of the KWC EI program to callers and to establish relationships of mutual respect and trust with client families, co-workers, and community partners.
This includes:

Physical Requirements:
Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking. In addition, s/he must be able to lift objects, boxes and climb a ladder to access and organize boxes of files and materials.
Job Responsibilities:
Building & Grounds Issue keys fobs to new staff, collect fobs from departing, manage keys in lock box for building, set-up staff mailboxes, manage door system Monitor organization and cleanliness of shared workspaces Monitor building safety and condition, scheduling improvements and repairs as needed Monitor outdoor equipment, large office equipment and sensory motor equipment, toy closet, and arrange for repairs as needed Select and oversee contracts for building and grounds maintenance with approval from ED, including grounds, custodian, schedule, and maintenance of trash and recycle receptacles. Schedule spaces and rooms to be used by staff and community on Kids Who Count calendar Prepare space/rooms in KWC building for all outside services; including, but not limited to; United Way Groups/Classes, Parent Support. Breakdown and reorganize rooms after use. Maintain the shed and organize its contents, including arranging for timely document destruction Develop safety and emergency procedures for the KWC facility, train staff. Program Services Field and direct incoming calls. Receive and direct office visitors Word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, filing both electronic and hard copy files Monitor large office equipment for needed repairs and supplies, schedule maintenance Keep KWC calendar and building schedule updated with holidays, meetings, KWC events, staff birthdays, Nebo District calendar and other program information. Manage volunteer projects (i.e. Eagle projects, United Way of Utah County Day of Caring) oversee execution of volunteer projects as necessary Arrange for volunteer activities, track volunteer hours, conduct volunteer recruitment and track in-kind donations Receive incoming email faxes and mail and forward to correct individuals Receive and respond to requests for child records including copying and sending requesting file information for SSI, from families and other agencies. Respond to requests for information or materials needed by direct service providers Supervise the use of toy/resource library and therapy equipment, manage electronic inventory, maintain a checkout book for staff, ensure toys are cleaned and disinfected upon return, maintainoverall condition of toys. Prepare new child intake files and assist Service Coordinator with filing as necessary
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
