Job Overview Elk Ridge Recovery is growing, and we are seeking multiple compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Addiction Counselors to join our clinical team on a part-time basis! We are a substance use disorder treatment facility in Great Falls, Montana, offering both ASAM Level 3.5 inpatient residential treatment and outpatient services. Our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based care in a safe, structured, and supportive environment that helps individuals build a strong foundation for lasting recovery. We welcome applications from both fully licensed Addiction Counselors (LACs) and LAC Candidates who are working toward full licensure and require clinical supervision. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people overcome substance use disorders and develop the skills necessary to maintain long-term sobriety. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to ethical and compassionate care, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. As a member of our clinical team, you will provide individual counseling, facilitate therapeutic groups, develop individualized treatment plans, and support clients receiving inpatient and outpatient treatment. You will work closely with our Clinical Director and other treatment professionals to provide comprehensive care and help clients successfully transition through different levels of treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide individual counseling to clients receiving inpatient and outpatient substance use disorder treatment. Facilitate therapeutic group sessions focusing on relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, recovery education, and personal growth. Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and assist in identifying appropriate treatment needs. Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans based on each client's progress and recovery goals. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plan updates, and other required clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations. Collaborate with the Clinical Director, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate client care. Assist clients in identifying triggers, developing healthy coping strategies, strengthening recovery skills, and establishing supportive relationships. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning as needed. Support clients as they transition between inpatient treatment, outpatient services, sober living, and other community-based recovery resources. Provide crisis intervention and appropriate clinical support when necessary and within the scope of licensure or supervised practice. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards, client confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Current Montana Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) credential or eligibility to practice as an LAC Candidate under applicable Montana licensing requirements. Knowledge of substance use disorders, addiction treatment, and evidence-based counseling approaches. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently within the appropriate scope of practice while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional ethics. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism. Willingness to participate in clinical supervision if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in inpatient, residential, or outpatient substance use disorder treatment. Familiarity with ASAM criteria and Level 3.5 treatment services. Experience facilitating group therapy and providing individual substance use counseling. Experience with electronic health records, preferably Kipu. Knowledge of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies. Experience working with clients transitioning between different levels of substance use disorder treatment. Compensation and Schedule We are hiring multiple part-time Addiction Counselors, and compensation will be based on licensure status.

Pay:

$25.00-$30.00 per hour $25.00 per hour for qualified LAC Candidates who require clinical supervision. $30.00 per hour for fully licensed Addiction Counselors who do not require supervision as a condition of licensure. Clinical supervision will be provided to qualified LAC Candidates under the direction of our Clinical Director.
