  • Shift Details:
  • + 8:00
  • 4:00pm
  • Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
  • + Provide rehabilitation counseling and guidance to individuals with substance use disorders, including individual and group counseling.
+ Support the facility's Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, treatment planning, and recovery goals. + Conduct substance use assessments and court-ordered evaluations, providing appropriate recommendations and documentation. + Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and provide education on recovery, relapse prevention, and coping skills. + Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate client care. + Provide referrals, crisis support, and other appropriate services based on client needs. + Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + High School Diploma or HSE + Current NYS CASAC or CASAC-T credential (CASAC-T must obtain full CASAC within 3 years).
+ Minimum of one (1) year related experience. + Additional certifications may be required. + Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. + Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
BLS, N95
fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
