We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Substance Abuse Counselor-In-Training (SAC-IT) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their counseling career who wants to gain meaningful clinical experience while receiving clinical supervision from experienced professionals as they work toward full licensure. Located in the rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin, our residential treatment center provides evidence-based care for adults overcoming substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Every day, you'll help clients build healthier lives while developing your own clinical skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm What You'll Do Co-facilitate and eventually lead psychoeducational, process, and recovery groups Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Build counseling skills through supervised individual sessions Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment Learn from experienced clinicians while working toward independent practice What You'll Bring Active SAC-IT registration in Wisconsin (required) Passion for helping individuals in recovery Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid Wisconsin driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screen CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Wood Violet Recovery?
